NBC's 'Fear Factor' Sued for Rat-Eating Episode -Oddly Enough News Article | Reuters.com:
"Watching contestants eat dead rats on NBC's gross-out stunt show 'Fear Factor' so disgusted a Cleveland man that he has sued NBC for $2.5 million, saying he could not stomach what he saw. "
Last time I looked, the TV had an on/off switch that you could use to shut it off. Why didn't he use it?
In a brief telephone interview with Reuters, Aitken said, "I am not at liberty to discuss the complaint unless it is a paid-interview situation."
Sorry, if I had just read a little further I would have figured it out. BTW I have never watched Fear Factor and never intend to. I see no reason to.

I found this on Ablazenet tonight. I like it:

The Lord is my programmer, I shall not crash.
He installed his software on the hard disc of my heart.
All his commands are user friendly.
His directory guides me to the right choices for His name's sake.
Even though I scroll through the problems of life, I wll fear no bugs,
For He is my backup.
His password protects me.
He prepares a menu before me in the presences of my enemies.
His help is only a keystroke away.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.
And my file will be merged with His and saved forever.

Firm gives P2P networks adware infection | The Register :
"'Remember, the people who receive something like (the ad-laden media files), in some cases, were on P-to-P, and they were trying to get illicit files,' Marc Morgenstern, a vice president at Loudeye told PC World."

While I agree with his sentiments that people are out to get illegal files, I disagree that he should be doing what he is doing and should get sued by someone for doing it.
If nothing else, Jesus said, 'Let him who is wothout sin cast the first stone." I wonder if Mr. Morgenstern is without sin.

This is not something that I had thought about with desktop search tools. I have shyed away from them since they will not work with my work machine (Lotus Notes) and that is where most information is that I need in a hurry.

BBC NEWS | Technology | Microsoft gets the blogging bug

BBC NEWS | Technology | Microsoft gets the blogging bug: Another Look at the MS Bloging.
"It now estimates that the number of blogs in existence has exceeded 4.8 million, although some speculate that less than a quarter are regularly maintained."
Intersting statistic, even with 1 million people, that is still a powerful voice.

MSN Goes to The Blogs

MSN Goes to The Blogs
Microsoft's move into consumer blogging follows its other challenges to Yahoo and Google for dominance in the hearts and minds of Web users via e-mail, search and now blogging. In early November Microsoft announced its new search beta and has been an active participant in the escalation of free Webmail space that was ignited by Google's Gmail service.
I guess it should be ok that they want to be number one in everything, but I have begun to hate the fact that MS thinks that it can control something after it has taken off. SIGH!

CNN.com - Kennedy assassination re-created in video game - Nov 21, 2004:
"'It is despicable,' said David Smith, a spokesman for Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, the late president's brother. He was informed of the game on Friday but declined further comment."
Never thought I lived to see the day when Senator Kennedy's camp and I agree, but it happened. I do not care what you think of President Kennedy, to release this game is nothing but disrepectful to the man and realy is a horrible thing.

ONA HOLLYWOOD: Wonkette: 'We had to publish exit polls in order to kill them'

ONA HOLLYWOOD: Wonkette: 'We had to publish exit polls in order to kill them':
"One of the bloggers responsible for the spread of misleading exit poll data told a room full of journalists that she posted the numbers without really worrying about their accuracy.
Ana Marie Cox -- aka irreverent blogger Wonkette -- offered an after-the-fact excuse: 'My retrospective argument seems relevant: We had to publish exit polls in order to kill them.'"
Noting I could add to this would make it make sense.

.

The Florida-based American Health Association has released symptoms of what it calls "post-election selection trauma," or PEST, which include: feelings of withdrawal, feelings of isolation, emotional anger and bitterness, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, nightmares, pervasive moodiness including endless sulking, and being excessively worried about the direction of the country.[Sorry Shellshocked Supporters]

If rebuplicams acted like this we would be told to grow up(not that we would). Democrats act like this and get pampered. Time to get off the milk and get on the meat guys. Sorry state of afairs for our country.

TIME.com: Tearing Kerry Down

TIME.com: Tearing Kerry Down:
"I have never seen a presidential campaign in which the strategies of the two parties are so different, and so dreadful. The Republican strategy is to demolish Kerry, posit the President as a man of simple strength and do everything possible to avoid a discussion of Iraq or the effects of globalization on the American economy. The Kerry strategy is to present an 'optimistic' candidate with a 'positive plan for the future.' "

Excuse me time magazine. Where were you when during the primaries, Kerry and the gang were attacking Bush, saying that he KNEW about 9/11 before it happened, etc. There has been negative out of Kerrys mouth just not recently.

Get your facts right PLEASE.

This scares me. Are we doomed to have Kerry win now?

Grace Fellowship July 25 2004 am service Pastor Bob Yandian

Ps 136 1 - 26

David is not author, Hezikah is. Mercy is what God desires to do for us to pour out his love for us. And this is forever.

135 and 136 are sister Psalms by Hezikah. 120 -134 are Psalms of degrees. These are a good ending to them. They contain information about creation, Israel, wisdom of worshiping the true God.

1. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God is a good God. He wants to show his goodness to us, not strike us down. Leave it in His hand. God can turn cursing into blessing. We do not need to know how, just that he will.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

We serve the God of Gods. We see terrorism in name of Islam, God is up to the challenge. He did this for Moses with Pharaoh, as well as Elijah at Mt Carmel.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Here we talk of Jesus. He is the Lord of Lords.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

No matter what great things happen in your life, God is the one that brings it to pass. God is the one.
